Sonido Costeno to Perform at SOB's in New York City

    NEW YORK, NY, October 25, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sonido Costeño will feature music of the group's multi -faceted "musica Latina" repertoire at SOB's, 294 Varick Street in New York City on Friday, November 6, 2015 with shows at 8:00 and 10:00pm. Well known as the premiere venue not only for World Music, but all genres, in New York City and the world over SOB's purpose is to expose the musical wealth and heritage of the Afro-Latino Diaspora to as many people as possible.

Sonido Costeño's years of performances to our global community attract new fans with each show. Establishing themselves at the formally Tito Puente's Restaurant in City Island, Sonido Costeño crafted their intimate interaction with dinner crowds which lead them to other reputable venues such as BAM Cafe , GyG, SOBs, Subrosa, Havana Central, Empire Casino, Resorts World Casino, St. Barts, Nova Terra, Makedas and Teak, . This amazing trajectory opened them up to wider audiences in corporate level such as Smith Barney and Metro Tech in Brooklyn. Cultural institutions include Brooklyn Museum of Art, El Museo Del Barrio and Brooklyn Children's Museum. Sonido Costeño has also entertained communities in the New York City area throughout the years in numerous street fairs.

The band's foundation will be provided by Jose Rodriguez on bass; David Freyre on percussion and this rhythm section cooks on high octane, so be sure to wear your dancing shoes! Filling out Sonido Costeño's sound and adding the spice on top will be Sam Barrios on keys; Ozzy Cardona on trumpet; David Ondrick on Sax and Vocals and bandleader and founder, Juan Ma Morales on Vocals, cuatro and guitar.
