While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only small selections of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.
With more than 25 years of experience in his field, Mr. Adams is a proactive, strategic and tactical professional with expertise in customer relations. He is particularly noted for his ability to determine customer strategic goals. Mr. Adams has spent the past seven years in the role of client availability leader for the IT giant IBM, where he is trusted to establish, maintain, improve and reinforce client relationships. He works to improve client satisfaction on the availability of the service while understanding the client business requirements, strategy and plans. Mr. Adams also implements action plans to ensure client satisfaction and improve the quality of service. He serves as a single interface in order to complete the operations necessary to execute the contract. Mr. Adams' further responsibilities include helping IBM customers get maximum return on investments and providing clients with total account system support.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Adams has held positions of increasing responsibility covering virtually every significant area in the industry, including business systems analysis, quality assurance, and product management. He has also become an experienced senior client account advocate, having worked as a customer services account manager at Vallent, program manager at Integris, senior business systems analyst at Williams Communications Solutions, LLC and program manager at Astea International.
Mr. Adams earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Boston University in 1986. After completing the degree, he searched for promising career opportunities and found one through a relative who worked for a customer relationship management (CRM) company. Mr. Adams was able to obtain a six-week contract at the company and has grown in the field ever since. In 2003, he became a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI). He retains affiliation with the Massachusetts Bay Chapter of PMI, as well as the Association of Information Technology Professionals.
In light of his accomplishments, Mr. Adams is a recipient of the IBM Eminence & Excellence Award. He was also distinguished as a VIP member of Worldwide Branding in 2014. Looking toward the future, Mr. Adams intends to work his way into a second management position within customer care.
