Douglas G. Ward, Q.C. Recognized as One of Canada's Top Lawyers

Mr. Ward celebrates nearly 50 years of experience in the legal field. On a day-to-day basis, he practices commercial and corporate law, which includes corporate restructuring, builders' liens, and litigation and insolvency issues. Recognized for his work, Mr. Ward has been named as one of Canada's top lawyers for corporate and commercial litigation. He also has an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Attributing his success to hard work, Mr. Ward also credits dedication and enjoyment of what he does. Looking back, he became involved in his profession because he has been interested in the field since eighth grade. He felt the legal field was a natural progression from his education to his partnership in the law firm.

Mr. Ward received his LL.B. from the University of Manitoba and a bachelor's degree in political science from Carleton University. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains affiliations with the Insolvency Institute of Canada, of which he is a founding member, and the American College of Trial Lawyers, of which he is a Fellow.
