CFSC Helps Back 2 School IL Give School Supplies to Over 1,000 Children

    NORTHBROOK, IL, November 02, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- This year, Community Financial Service Centers (CFSC) helped Back 2 School Illinois (B2SI) provide school supply kits to more than 1,000 children from underprivileged households. CFSC gladly made a large donation and purchased hundreds of supply kits for B2SI this year.

"CFSC has provided both financial contributions and sweat equity at our Back 2 School distribution events," said B2SI CEO Matthew Kurtzman.

B2SI hosted its largest school supply distribution event at the Broadway Armory Park in August. At the event, over 11,500 kits with more than 350,000 school supplies were distributed. The organization's mission is to create and support educational opportunities that enrich the lives of Illinois students--a goal that was greatly accomplished at the event in August. CFSC was honored to contribute an equivalent of over 1,000 supply kits, each of which helped give a child in need the tools and the confidence to be a successful student.
