HOUSTON, TX, November 06, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ann E. Kenney, Underwriting Director Ocean Marine for CNA, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in underwriting.
With unparalleled expertise in her field, Ms. Kenney lends more than three decades of practiced experience to her role with CNA. Her career began at AIG/Starr Marine, where she worked for 20-plus years, before moving to ACE for five years. After that experience, she decided to move to the broker side of the industry and worked at AON and Crump, prior to joining CNA.
A stellar example of excellence in her field, Ms. Kenney shines due to a combination of her educational background and her prior industry experiences. She completed extensive training with an underwriter manager, and is a certified associate in marine insurance management. The biggest challenge that she faces in the industry is advancing in the male-dominated field; however, she has advanced successfully in the field since her beginning in 1982. Looking toward the future, Ms. Kenney would like to see an increase in staff. She is currently training someone to work in another office.
