Wilson Law, P.A. is thrilled to announce the addition of Patrick, Marc, and Karen to our team.
RALEIGH, NC, November 10, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On Tuesday, Plaintiffs' personal injury firm Wilson Law, P.A. announced the addition of three new team members. Senior Counsel, Patrick White, and Associate Attorney, Marc C. Downing, will join Managing Shareholder Kimberly Wilson White on the firm's litigation team, while Administrative Assistant, Karen Mendoza, will assist clients as part of the office staff.
"Wilson Law, P.A. is thrilled to announce the addition of Patrick, Marc, and Karen to our team," Kimberly Wilson White said. "Patrick brings 10 years of litigation experience, Marc brings the enthusiasm of a new lawyer, and Karen brings a demonstrated commitment to helping individuals in need and an added advantage of being bilingual in English and Spanish."
"Our clients will greatly benefit by having Patrick, Marc, and Karen on their side." Patrick White joined Wilson Law, P.A. after moving to North Carolina earlier this year from West Virginia, where he practiced for nearly a decade as a civil defense litigator. At Wilson Law, P.A., he represents clients catastrophically injured in trucking, automobile, and premises accidents. Patrick also assists Managing Shareholder, Kimberly Wilson White, with medical malpractice and pharmaceutical cases. Having worked as a defense lawyer prior to joining a plaintiff's practice gives Patrick a strategic advantage in evaluating and working up his cases. Being able to quickly identify the strengths and weaknesses of a case always benefits the client. Additionally, knowing how a lawyer hired by an insurance company is going to defend a case allows Patrick to better able educate his clients about what to expect during the litigation process. Managing our clients' expectations and educating them about the process gives them confidence in themselves, the case, and our law firm.
Prior to joining Wilson Law, P.A. as an Associate Attorney, Marc served as a summer legal clerk with the firm while attending law school at the University of Florida. He is passionate about representing victims of defective medical products and dangerous pharmaceuticals. Marc has been directly involved in the representation of several hundred women who have sustained serious injuries resulting from transvaginal mesh products used to treat pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence. He's appreciative that he's been able to participate in such important litigation so early in his career on behalf of consumers who did nothing wrong yet still suffered horrific injuries from a medical device. Marc recognizes the importance of access to the courtroom in holding big companies accountable for corporate negligence.
Karen grew up in Mexico City before moving to the United States. She coordinates the firm's receipt of bills, medical records, and other materials pertinent to clients' personal injury claims. In addition, Karen provides input and guidance to Managing Shareholder, Kimberly Wilson White, on the firm's social media marketing strategy. She also interfaces with Spanish-speaking personal injury clients represented by Wilson Law, P.A. Starting in 2017, Karen intends to pursue a law degree with the goal of becoming an immigration attorney.
