In 'Are You Eating My Lunch?', a 30-page, bilingual picture book, a young boy named Xavier visits the zoo. At lunch time, he can't find his lunch box. He decides to investigate. He asks all animals the same question: "Are You Eating My Lunch?" During his investigation, he will learn the animals' favorite food.
In 'Strike At Charles' Farm', a young boy named Charles leads a farm. One day, he faces a problem. His farm animals go on strike. They refuse to work, want to eat more food or sleep longer. Charles asks all his animals what would make them happy. After listening to them one by one, he gathers them in the barn. Charles tells them that he understands their needs. However, he is not able to satisfy them. He offers to sell them to the zoo. The animals can have food and sleep all the day long for the rest of their lives without any obligations to work. When they realize that Charles is serious about selling them to the zoo, all animals ask to stay and promise to get back to work.
"I wrote these books," Dr. Nicole stated, "to help young readers to learn a second language while having fun reading a story. Kids love animals stories. My teacher background helps me to introduce valuable life lessons in my works."
