SANTA MONICA, CA, November 12, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- WHO: ALL Santa Monica residents. Delphi Academy of Santa Monica is extending an invitation to ALL Santa Monica residents to help end hunger this Thanksgiving.
WHAT: It might not be Hunger Action Month any more, but PAL represents the color of hunger relief and Delphi Santa Monica is joining them. Delphi has issued a city wide call to action for all Santa Monica residents to get involved and take action.
"Giving back to the community is just part of who we are," says Head of School, Ellen Garrison. "We enjoy partnering with many different organizations to accomplish this and PAL is an excellent organization that does a lot of good in the local community. Shockingly, the need for food assistance in our area is up by over 85% in the latest several years. So please join us in making sure every family has enough to eat this Thanksgiving holiday.
Anyone wishing to donate non-perishable food items to this wonderful cause can contact school administrator and Admissions Director, Bridgette Rappoport, at [email protected]. Items can be dropped off at the Delphi Academy of Santa Monica office located at 1229 4th Street Santa Monica, CA 90401 until November 19 at 4:00pm.
Items will be delivered to PAL the week before Thanksgiving.
