FARMINGTON HILLS, MI, November 14, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jenne Pillars, HR Generalist for ESI North America, Inc., has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Jenne Pillars will be featured in the upcoming edition of the Women of Distinction Magazine in 2015/2016.
Jenne Pillars began her professional life as a corporate paralegal in 1993, specializing in immigration law for 14 years just prior to her career change in 2015.
"Most of our clients were HR professionals. This is where I saw a need for immigration expertise and career growth," Mrs. Pillars said.
In the main part of her role, Mrs. Pillars serves as a liaison with outside counsel to prepare immigration filings. The goal is for the employee to work uninterrupted. In addition to all of her immigration responsibilities, she is learning the day to day HR functions from her very dedicated, hardworking, and wonderful HR Director.
Mrs. Pillars is on the Advisory Committee for Macomb Community College's Paralegal Program, is a Board Member for her son's lacrosse team, and coordinates her high school class reunions. She holds a BA in Political Science from Michigan State University and a Post-Baccalaureate Paralegal Certificate from Lansing Community College.
A widow at the age of 45, Mrs. Pillars lost her beloved husband of 19 years in 2014. She is raising their 16-year-old son Erik in their hometown of Royal Oak.
