Gene Gorman Honored for Excellence in Motivational Speaking and Writing

Mr. Gorman has 25 years of professional experience, with 21 years as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Gene Gorman & Assoc. Inc. Throughout his career, he has set himself apart as an expert in motivational speaking and systems creation. Each day, he is responsible for overseeing the overseers for all of the different companies and their 50 employees. He travels the world to share his life experiences as a motivational speaker and author.

Mr. Gorman published his first book, "You had to be there," in December of 2014 and he is currently working on his second book entitled "Action Vs. Reaction Management." It is scheduled for release in early 2016. He has been a motivational speaker for 25 years and that speaking career encouraged him to write that first book. His company has five different divisions: automotive sales, finance company, warranty company, automotive sales and services and a sales and management consulting company, primarily in automotive, but he has worked with major companies such as Cox Broadcasting, AT&T, General Motors, Chrysler Corporation and its affiliates.

Looking back, Mr. Gorman attributes his success to being an open-minded learner. He also credits the teachings passed down by his father and the discipline that he learned in the Marines. He became involved in his profession as a young marine returning from Vietnam. He found his first job selling cars and his career took off from there.

Mr. Gorman maintains affiliation with NIADA and FIADA. Additionally, he earned several service citations for his service in the United States Marine Corp in Vietnam, and he held a Top Secret Security Clearance while in the Marines. In years to come, Mr. Gorman intends to continue doing what he is doing now, though he also plans to speak and write more.
