Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Amy Stoodt as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    SUGARLAND, TX, November 19, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amy Stoodt, Owner/Principal of Lean-To Consulting, LLC, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction magazine. Amy Stoodt will be featured in the November 2015 edition, with a brief intro in the October 2015 edition.

Beginning her career in 1990 working for Marathon Pipeline Company as an Operations Analyst in the oil and gas energy sector, Amy Stoodt spent more than 25 years working for major owners and operators, as well as engineering firms, before making the decision to start her own consulting business in 2014. Now, primarily responsible for providing her clients with the support they need, whether it be strategic, technical, business development, or process improvement, Ms. Stoodt's work as a consultant has been nothing less than fantastic.

"I have been fortunate to gain expertise in several areas throughout my career, but my ability to lead and implement improvements and change, and my experience in major capital project management, have set me apart from my peers," Ms. Stoodt said about her consultant work in the oil and gas energy sector. Ms. Stoodt holds a BS in Computer Programming from Defiance College and an MBA from Tiffin University. She is a Certified Project Management Professional through Project Management Institute and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and DMAIC Certification through Aveta Business Institute.
