Rockland Trust Joins NuPath In Community Partnership

    WOBURN, MA, November 20, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- NuPath's growth over the past year has merited a number of new community partners. On Tuesday, the nonprofit organization added one more seat to their ever-growing table.

NuPath and Rockland Trust joined together in a new community partnership initiative. The Massachusetts-based bank has sponsored NuPath events in the past including their annual Taste of Spring in May and, most recently, the Annual Celebration on October 29.

Rockland Trust was the primary sponsor for audio-visual efforts during the event in order for NuPath to broadcast the Celebration online via LiveStream. Business Banking Officer and Assistant Vice President Reena Scott was on hand as she presented a check on behalf of Rockland Trust to NuPath for their work with the Annual Celebration.

"After I sat down with Brett (Reily), there was a fit between what our community support goals are with nonprofits and the NuPath mission," Scott said. "We hope this is the start of a flourishing partnership."

Reily, NuPath's Director of Employment and Community Engagement, says Rockland's mission coincides with the agency's guiding principles. "They have a community engagement program that we identified as being a great match with our values," he said.

"They want to support NuPath's focus on a community-based model and the need for corporate partnerships to help foster networking and community connections."

Primarily based on the South Shore, Rockland Trust is expanding on the North Shore with several locations north of Boston. Their employees are dedicated to community-based outreach through volunteer work, various initiatives and charitable giving programs for both children and adults.
