New England Revolution Soccer Team Hosts Delphi Boston

    MILTON, MA, November 25, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Students at the Delphi Academy of Boston recently were able to attend a soccer clinic hosted by the New England Revolution professional soccer team. Called the "Revolution Fourth Grade Fitness Day," the clinic was an opportunity for elementary schoolers from across the state to participate in athletic exercises led by professionals.

The Fitness Day was held at Gillette Stadium, home to both the Revolution and the New England Patriots, Boston's famous champion football team. Both soccer and football are favorite sports of the Delphi Academy students, so all appreciated the opportunity to improve their abilities by beating taught by the pros.

Exercises were conducted on the field itself, including everything from running to "mountain climbers", a stretching and muscle building exercise. After completing all of these soccer drills, Delphi Academy students were able to listen to a talk given by Revolution midfielder Scott Caldwell and goalkeeper Brad Knighton. The day ended in a Q and A session with these two players where students were given the opportunity to learn more about fitness and lifelong healthy habits.

With everything they learned and experienced, the Delphi Academy students reported being excited to begin their new season of soccer and to apply themselves even harder in meeting their goals.
