Georgia PTAs Embrace Cause Commerce

    ATLANTA, GA, December 02, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Georgia State PTA is boosting Schools fundraising efforts by partnering with the CauseNetwork, Inc. to provide every PTA in the state of Georgia a free, branded online marketplace and mobile app. This partnership capitalizes on consumers shift toward "shopping for a cause", coupled with the widespread use of mobile devices for online purchases, which are expected to reach $100 million in 2015.

CauseNetwork will create a customized shopping website for every interested PTA in Georgia for their members to make online purchases from over 1,000 retailers that donate up to 10% of every purchase. The same ability to shop for their cause is enabled through each PTA's customized mobile app, which also includes messaging for PTAs to stay in touch with their members. The entire platform is provided at no cost to the PTAs that enroll.
