Herguan University Celebrates Successful 2015, Gears up for the New Year

    SUNNYVALE, CA, December 04, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Herguan University is celebrating the end of a successful school year while driving forward into the beginning of what the school's administrators anticipate to be another exciting year.

On September 22, 2015, Herguan University and the University of East-West jointly hosted a blood drive on their mutual campus in Sunnyvale, California, to benefit both the American Cancer Society and victims of the Nepal earthquake. More than 20 donors were brought in, and each donor's blood could have helped up to 4 people in need of a transfusion.

Herguan University is excited about driving forward into 2015, and they are now accepting applications for the Spring 2016 session.

Students come to Herguan University from countries all over the world, including China, Nepal, Russia, Pakistan, Philippines, Latin America, Africa, and Eastern Europe, to study in academics programs such as the Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA).

Dr. Ying Qiu Wang launched Herguan University in 2005 so that students could study science, technology, engineering, and math to face the demands of today's high-tech world.

More than 600 students per year enroll in the university, and the college was accredited in 2014. Graduates are prepared to lead in today's top industries and companies, with many graduates leaving to work at companies such as Yahoo, Facebook, Apple, IBM, Google, and more.

Dr. Wang is also known for his promotion of social services, including the encouragement of medical groups to offer medical consultations within communities. Through his belief of giving back in order for total sustainability, Herguan University has continued to grow since its launch.
