He has experience in sales, marketing, operations and professional services in a number of industries including IT, mining, public sector, engineering projects and consumer financial transactions
VANCOUVER, BC, December 04, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark W. Nash, President and Chief Executive Officer of CanOre International Consulting Inc, has been named a Worldwide Branding Executive of the Year in Business Consulting Services. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.
Mr. Nash has 22 years of senior executive management experience, with 11 years as a Business Consultant and is currently president and CEO of CanOre International Consulting Inc. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated his skill at strategic planning and marketing campaigns as well as successfully managing and growing small and mid-size enterprise revenues and profits in both domestic and international marketplaces. He has built project teams and organizations that are committed to the success of the stakeholders, including their support for social and environmental responsibilities. Working with his business partner Gopi Pandya, each day, they are responsible for handling the development of strategic plans, executive presentations, direct sales management, and working with business partners to grow domestic and international clients. While Mr. Nash focuses on strategic planning, business development and serving as senior project leader, Mr. Pandya manages the digital marketing centre working with social media, branding and campaign messages to their clients' target customers.
As a senior executive, Mr. Nash has diverse experience in sales, marketing, operations and professional services in a number of industries including IT, mining, public sector, engineering projects and consumer financial transactions. He has turned start-ups into million-dollar businesses, successfully launched clients into international markets and has transitioned both mid-size and Fortune 500 company divisions into solution providers.
Looking back, Mr. Nash attributes his success to having the fortunate opportunity early in his career to be involved in market research and learning the impact of branding. Mr. Nash's distinguished career began when he attended the Honours Commerce Program at Simon Fraser University, BC, Canada where he was also a teaching assistant for advanced marketing programs and co-author of "Impact of Branding on Consumer Behavior."
He has been dealing with clients and customers in Asia, the Americas, and Southern Africa since the early 1990's. He feels that, to be successful in the international marketplace, it is imperative to understand the culture, the business practices and be seen as bettering the local business community from international trade and foreign investment. People still buy from people they trust, no matter who you are or where you come from. He also credits keeping himself up to speed by living up to his philosophy that one need to demonstrate energy, fortitude, persistence and commitment in achieving your business goals and to never stop learning. The world is advancing very fast and the emerging technologies are not only in the IT market, they are everywhere. He believes "technology" is the new business strategy because it drives innovation, productivity, and a higher standard of living.
"You must never stop learning and adapting to market challenges in the evolving business community. What was once a developing trading block is now a developed trading partner." he says. In 10 years, he believes it will be India, Brazil and Chile that will increase their middle class and they will become the new economic engines added to the global economies creating the wealth and demand for new products and services.
He sees his goal in the future to be to continue working with the best of the younger generation which keeps him energized and motivated to continue learning. In exchange, his goal is to pass on the experience and wisdom of his generation to them. He believes that it is the obligation of every senior executive to mentor the next generation as part of their legacy whether you are a senior executive managing a Fortune 500 or small business.
