Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Kim Waitz as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    ATLANTA, GA, December 05, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kim Waitz, Vice-President of Product Management and Business Development at Whippit Technologies, LLC, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Kim Waitz will be featured in the upcoming edition of the Women of Distinction Magazine in 2015/2016.

Serving as the Vice-President of Product Management and Business Development for Whippit Technologies, LLC since July 2014, Kim Waitz serves as the creative leader for the company's software platform, ensuring that they are always meeting the needs of clients. Leading the Product Management and Business Development teams in her role, she also designs and plans the enterprise platform of solutions on IOS, Android, and Windows. She is the key decision maker regarding product design and marketing, and equally important, creates and fosters client relationships.

Beginning her career in the industry in 1987, Ms. Waitz eventually began training clients of software and developed an interest in technology. Contacting developers and asking them to teach her as much as possible, before she knew it she was being asked by technical trainers to teach their classes, which led to the position of National Technical Instructor with Lanier Worldwide/Lanier Healthcare, back in 1994. Since that time she has served as a Business Analyst, Application Service Provider, Product Analyst, and Project Manager for various companies before jumping on board with Whippit Technologies, LLC.

"I love making technology work for the client, hearing their needs, and developing a solution," Ms. Waitz said about working in IT. "Breaking into a man's world of technology was not easy, I had to prove myself and my knowledge to my clients, but I never gave up. Therefore, staying on top of the never ending changes in technology are essential to my career."

Ms. Waitz holds a Liberal Arts Degree from Birmingham Southern College. She's a member of numerous organizations, including Technical Association of Georgia, Innovations in Healthcare, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act 411, and The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, The American Health Information Management Association and The Radiological Society of North America. She also served as the President of her Homeowners Association Board as President in 2013 and currently serves as Treasurer since 2014.
