NEW YORK, NY, December 04, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- New York Artist Jacques Rosas reacted to being attacked with art work in the street and on canvases after he was attacked 26 years ago.
This week end Jacques is exhibiting his Art Work inspired from a survivor's experience.
"Idol Hands are The Devils Workshop" is a 10 foot by 7 foot oil work on canvas and depicts a crowd of people praying. Abstract and expressive, colorful and controversial this painting was created to provoke thought and discussion.
"Blind Eyes" is a pop art piece, 10 feet by 7 feet big, latex paint on canvas and depicts a body out line and faces with no eyes looking, not seeing, a tragedy directly in front of them.
A man behind bars, an outline in the street, a dozen paintings of manholes and large abstract expressionist's paintings were created to entertain the eye, engage and all have a profound connection to violence for the artist.
