Carahsoft Hosts 2015 Cyber Playbook Conference: Get in the Game

WHAT: Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider, is pleased to host Cyber Playbook 2015: Get in the Game, on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in Washington DC. This one-day event will offer attendees the opportunity to engage with government leaders and industry experts as they tackle the most difficult questions surrounding cybersecurity and data protection.

Since 2006, security breaches have increased over 1000% (US-CERT). In response to these incidents, federal initiatives are being implemented with aims at keeping cybersecurity a high priority for all government agencies. Cyber Playbook will bring together the innovative leaders behind these new mandates to discuss how government agencies can thwart future cyber threats.

WHO: Attendees of Cyber Playbook will hear from leading government playmakers including Trevor Rudolph, Chief of the Cyber and National Security Unit for the Office of E-Government and IT, Office of Management and Budget. Mr. Rudolph has been invited to give the keynote address focusing on the recently announced Federal Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation Plan. Attendees will learn about the program's best practices for recruiting and retaining a top cyber workforce. In addition, the event will host panel discussions surrounding how government agencies can better understand the methods and motivations behind cyber-attacks and the best tactics for preventing future security breaches.
