Developed out of Owner and Founder Tammy Rosen's love for animals, she found the courage to leave a successful position in Corporate America to pursue her dream. Fifteen years later the company she built now supports her and her family, as her husband, Steve Rosen, also left his career in Telecom to work with Tammy full-time. Fur-Get Me Not will be marking the occasion with a Customer Appreciation Day on December 15th to thank their customers and pets for their support over the years.

Even during the economic ups and downs over the past 15 years, Fur-Get Me Not has been able to keep expanding. Fur-Get Me Not started as a pet sitting company and has added dog walking, dog daycare, dog boarding, dog training, and a DIY dog wash service. Tammy Rosen founded Fur-Get Me Not in 2000 as a small pet sitting business operating out of her home. By 2003, the company had grown to 25 employees and opened a dog daycare facility at a great location in Arlington. Since then, the company has continued to expand service offerings, which now include dog daycare, boarding, dog walking, pet sitting, and dog training. Fur-Get Me Not opened a Dog Training School next door to the existing dog daycare facility in 2011. In the Adams Morgan neighborhood of DC, the company offers a popular do-it-yourself dog wash.
