Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Pamela Chapman as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

Pamela Chapman will be featured in the upcoming edition of the Women of Distinction Magazine in 2015/2016.

As the Founder of Yucatan Wellness, Pamela Chapman serves as a Life-Transition Coach, Wellness Specialist, and Facilitator providing alternative health tools to clients with a spiritual twist to maximize health. Organizing, promoting, and facilitating spiritual alternative healing workshop retreats in Yucatan, Mexico, Ms. Chapman interconnects both the ancient Maya path of healing with cutting-edge alternative techniques used in the United States offering customers the best in alternative solutions.

"I'm the promoter, the social media guru, the administrator," Ms. Chapman said, who received her first certification as a life coach in 2008. "What I do now stems from my many years in corporate, with the last 12 years in upper management. Employees not confide in me but upper management as well. I eventually set a chair alongside my desk inviting all to come in for solace and holistic advice, and that's where it all began."

Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Ms. Chapman eventually found herself relocating to Colorado after a major life transition in 2005. It was also the beginning of her new career path. Previously, Ms. Chapman served as a Case Manager, a Certified Family Violence Specialist, and Drug and Alcohol Abuse Specialist after transitioning from the corporate world as a Senior Administrator for Safeco Financial Institution Solutions. By 2008, she had formed Pamela Chapman dot Biz, serving as President, Life-Transition Coach, and Advocate for the domestically abused. It was in 2014 that she transitioned to form Yucatan Wellness Corporation facilitating workshop retreats three times a year in Yucatan.

Ms. Chapman holds an AA in Information Systems/Business Administration from Orange Coast College. She became a Certified Family Violence Specialist in 2002, Certified Drug and Alcohol Awareness Specialist in 2003, a Certified Life-Transition Coach in 2008, and an Emotional Freedom Technique specialist in 2012. She is currently studying to become an Optimal Emotional Freedom Technique specialist and has recently received her Corporate Wellness Specialist Certification.
