Vocabulary of Internet TOEIC Lecture EBS Tomokdal Heads into App, DMEdu Launches English Vocabulary App 'Tomokdal 550'

The app focuses on English vocabulary for TOEIC.

The first app that DMEdu will launch is "Tomokdal 500". This app enables users to learn useful English vocabulary for the EBS Tomokdal 550 course via smartphones. "Tomokdal (achieving target score on TOEIC) is EBS' popular Internet lecture for TOEIC.

DMEdu applied Ebbinghaus' Forgetting Curve to "Tomokdal Series", helping people remember English words as long as possible. The company increased the degree of the contents' completeness by using English pronunciations recorded by voice actors, instead of a TTS system.

Furthermore, the company did not crawl for images of word cards from websites. The images that are associated with each word card were created by graphic designers.

DMEdu has launched "Anylingo", a flashcard-type English vocabulary learning app, and "Smart Voca", a learning management service that combines mobile and offline English vocabulary study. With its own learning platforms and rich contents, the company stands out in the smart content field for learning English vocabulary.

The collaborative project with EBS through the "Tomokdal" English vocabulary app can be seen as the result of DMEdu's continuous effort and investment in developing English vocabulary contents. As TOEIC is essential for landing a job, DMEdu's contents have garnered much attention from graduates and those who could not afford to enroll in offline English institutes.

In the future, DMEdu will launch other course series for target scores of 650, 750, and 990. "Tomokdal 550" can be downloaded from Apple's App Store from December 20, and will be available on Google Play Store January 10.
