This year, the firm was the main sponsor of Pastor Appreciation Day, the annual Congress of Pastors in Kissimmee, and Hispanic Heritage Month.

Gibson and his law firm, by sponsoring our pastors' appreciation day event held on October 17, 2015 in Clearwater Florida. Mr. Gibson is always very much interested in community activities and is always willing to be involved wherever his help is needed. This year the firm graciously covered the cost of a trip to Washington, DC to meet with Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor for a select group of Central Florida students. Michael T. Gibson, P.A. was also the main sponsor of the welcoming event to Puerto Ricans moving to Central Florida. This event was attended by several government agencies, and non-profit organizations with orientations about services to new comers moving from Puerto Rico to Central Florida due to the economic crisis. As a result of the firm's involvement and support, Luis Vicente Gutierrez, the U.S. Representative for Illinois's 4th congressional district, made a special visit to the law firm.

Mr. Gibson and his firm also helped fund a mission trip this year to El Salvador that provided clothes to families in need. The firm also donated used suits, ties, shirts to pastors and ministers in the area.

The firm also supported The Gospel Mobile Theater, a local organization whose purpose is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through the big screen.

This donation enabled Gospel Mobile Theater to pay to install a winch in the ministry truck. The winch serves to lift up into the truck very heavy items, such as our food warmer that we fill with food to go out and feed those less fortunate. It also lifts the generator into our truck. Before this donation, my son (if he was not there, it was my wife) and I were having to lift these very heavy items into the truck. This has made our operating procedures so much easier, because sometimes we do not have the manpower or volunteers to assist us. Again, thank you for your donation in May of 2015. This Thanksgiving, the firm made a donation to Central Florida families in need, which provided home-cooked meals of turkey, rice, stuffing, salad and dessert on Thanksgiving Day. The firm is also an annual sponsor of the 'Andre Reyna Make a Difference' Charity Car Wash held every March at T.G.I. Friday's in Orlando. All proceeds benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
