NEW FEATURES

LiberCloud has enhanced its functionality to meet the growing (and unfilled) demand for tools that enable "blended learning techniques". Two new features help instructors and trainers teach, assess and test in a more integrated way.

1. My Tests and LiberTest

MyTests is a full-fledged assessment, evaluation and polling platform (within the LiberCloud platform) to meet the need for rapid and frequent assessments as well proficiency testing. Instructors can now benefit from an integrated assessment platform within the LiberCloud content management platform. No one else offers this capability.

- Benefits to an instructor: The time savings for instructors and educators is incredible because of how easy it is to create a test or poll, send it and gather results. Can also better assess a student's comprehension of new topics and adapt the learning and teaching process real-time.

- Benefits to trainees/students: Learners can easily access pending assigned tests and surveys as well as past completed tests on each of the participating courses or classes. Easier access to tests = faster and better learning.

LiberTest is the new accompanying mobile app for Android and iOS. Beta testers are encouraged to sign up on libercloud.com. The goal is to provide features for offline productivity, like creating new test templates and evaluating tests that were taken by students offline.

2. LiberCanvas and LiberCloud Now Fully Integrated

LiberCanvas is an app that is a mini-recording studio and annotation tool developed for iOS and Android tablets. Instructors can now explain concepts to an entire class because the functionality of LiberCanvas has been integrated into LiberCloud, making it easier to display, write and collaborate on an interactive white board.

LiberCloud's goal is to give true freedom to instructors and educators and help them employ blended learning techniques in their classrooms. This new integration is a critical step towards that goal.
