CHARLOTTE, NC, December 19, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Wild Women Unite is an international organization designed to empower women and help them lead healthier lives by getting in touch with nature and outdoor activities.
Registration is now open for Wild Women Unite taking place March 11-12, 2016, at the Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, SC (Charlotte NC metro area).
On the heels of a successful event in New York, sponsored in-part by Cabela's in Cheektowaga, NY; the "world's foremost outfitter" has agreed to co-sponsor the event in Fort Mill, where they recently opened a new retail location.
Site Directors, Dena Bruton-Claus and husband Paul Claus, excitedly met hundreds of shoppers in-store on Black Friday; as they handed out postcards containing an exclusive, Black Friday ticket price special. Shoppers having received the card can enter the code at any time to receive the discount.
The Fort Mill Cabela's store is including information on the event in the bag of every shopper through year-end.
The concept of Wild Women Unite is as the company's tagline describes: "Providing a safe, fun place for women to learn about and get comfortable with outdoor activities since 2003."
Several workshop choices are available, including three that Cabela's will be providing: kayaking, archery and fishing. Others include mountain biking, wild yoga, gourmet campfire cooking, geocaching, 'Happy camp,' and for an additional cost, horseback riding and pistol shooting, and there are more.
Wild Women Unite brings activities and equipment to a central location where credentialed instructors contribute to all the fun!
For one price, registrants gain access to a Friday night reception and networking event called 'Wild Women Activate!' with light hors d'oeuvres and drinks; on Saturday, four [pre-selected] workshops, a boxed lunch, and catered dinner followed by campfire, socializing and drinks.
There are combinations and discounted pricing for 'Gal-Pal' tickets for two.
All ladies age 16 and over are invited and encouraged to participate.
New York Site Director, Suzanne Suchan said, "It's such a warm, refreshing experience to see women of all ages from all over North America assemble in one place, and be welcomed and embraced as they embark on new experiences, laughing all the way. It's a real life-changer. Lifetime friends are made at our events!"
Wild Women Unite is partnered with a nonprofit that Suzanne founded, called 'Love Shouldn't Hurt,' a platform for advocacy, awareness and support for those impacted by domestic violence. Suzanne had been a victim for 22 years.
Originated by Yvonne Folck, Wild Women Unite has events currently scheduled in Cocoa Beach, FL; Buffalo, NY, Fort Mill, SC, Toronto, Canada and Washington DC, with more locations in the works.
Yvonne personally extends her invitation:
"Join us at the Anne Springs Close Greenway if you are you prepared to meet new friends, let your hair down, kick back and kick butt! There are a lot of women in the Carolinas who want to create a network like we have in New York. That is why Wild Women Unite is joining with Paul & Dena to host a fantastic event. By participating in this weekend, you will become a pioneer, a leading lady, a woman of the future. You will be leading the way for other women to feel safe and feel welcome in the outdoors. Are you ready?"
