Scrum Training for Veterans: Platinum Edge & Scrum Alliance Hold Discounted CSM Class

    ORANGE COUNTY, CA, December 18, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Platinum Edge, LLC is excited to announce that the company has partnered with the Scrum Alliance to provide a heavily discounted 2-day Certified Scrum Master (CSM) class for veterans aimed at improving their project management skills and making them more competitive in the job market.

The scrum master certification class, which Platinum Edge normally sells for up to $1,395, will be offered to veterans for this class only for $99 and free for unemployed veterans (with an EDD statement). The class provides in-depth understanding of the scrum team-based approach to iterative development, and trains participants in the full range of scrum topics, from basic theory to organizational implementation, including practical applications, roles, and scaling.

The course will be taught by the Founder and CEO of Platinum Edge, Mark C. Layton, who is a veteran himself having spent 11 years as a Cryptographic Specialist for the US Air Force, where he earned both Commendation and Achievement medals for his accomplishments.

Platinum Edge is honored to have partnered with Scrum Alliance for this class, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to encouraging and supporting the widespread adoption of scrum.
