HORSHAM, PA, December 23, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- MaxPro Corporation is proud to announce that it is ending 2015 having reached an important company landmark: receiving ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for calibration.
"This has been a company goal of ours for several years," said MaxPro President Tom Macey. "This will elevate our company to world class status as a leader in our specialty market of high-capacity torque equipment."
ISO/IEC was developed in 1999 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), and is considered the foremost standard for labs that provide calibration and testing.
The accreditation allows MaxPro to offer ISO 17025 calibrations for manual, pneumatic, electric, battery and hydraulic torque wrenches, along with pressure gauges and torque transducers.
The need for compliant, calibrated torque equipment is expected to increase as more and more heavy industries - construction, power, mining, etc. - continue to become more quality driven.
MaxPro is one of the few companies in America that can provide calibrated, high capacity, accredited 17025 torque equipment to meet the needs of these industries.
About MaxPro Corp: A leading industrial distributor and calibration laboratory, MaxPro has been setting the standard in the bolting and torque equipment market since 1993, and provides expertise in solving the most difficult and critical bolting applications.
