CLEVELAND, OH, December 30, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sandy Rozelman, Chronic Pain Management Consultant and Author, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Sandy Rozelman will be featured in the upcoming edition in 2015/2016.
Living with chronic pain due to Fibromyalgia, Sandy Rozelman used her condition and turned it into a positive experience for herself and many others. She published her first of four books of humor in 2008.
'Your Gonna Laugh', is a book series that includes: 'Politics is a Joke'; 'Who Said Jews Aren't Funny?'; and 'You're Gonna Laugh Your Tail Off'. Ms. Rozelman's books are all published through Tate Publishing and can be found online for purchase on Amazon.com.
Ms. Rozelman later used her affiliation with the American Chronic Pain Association (ACPA) to facilitate her own support group, which led to the writing and publishing of her fifth book, 'Chronic Pain Doesn't Have to Hurt, Shift Your Perception of Pain'.
As a Speaker and Educator on chronic pain management, Ms. Rozelman coaches clients one-on-one, in small groups, and in an ongoing support group. She has spoken at community centers, senior centers, churches, and spiritual centers and has been invited to showcase her books at local author events.
"My success in helping others comes from having first-hand knowledge of what it's like to live with chronic pain," Ms. Rozelman said. "My pain has become an inspiration and my validation came when a client told me that she was contemplating ending her life because her pain had become so unmanageable. But after spending time with me, she had the tools she needed to cope with her pain."
Ms. Rozelman has been published in several issues of American Chronicle Pain Association's quarterly chronicle, including this past quarter's issue, which featured a professional review of her latest book, 'Chronic Pain Doesn't Have to Hurt: Shift Your Perception of Pain'. She has also had several of her articles published in the 'PainAction Newsletter' online. Additionally, Ms. Rozelman has conducted numerous speaking engagements and workshops, and has led healing services at two local churches.
