Douglas A. Dozeman Elected Managing Partner of Warner Norcross

    GRAND RAPIDS, MI, January 07, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dozeman will serve a two-year term in his new role leading Michigan's second largest law firm. He will chair the firm's Management Committee and guide its strategic direction and growth. Warner Norcross is also the largest law firm headquartered in West Michigan, with more than 230 attorneys practicing in offices in Grand Rapids, Holland, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Macomb County, Midland, Muskegon and Southfield.

With more than 30 years of experience, Dozeman concentrates his practice in complex business litigation and represents businesses and individuals in complex civil litigation matters. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Association. He has also served on the faculty of the Hillman Advocacy Program. Dozeman serves on the boards of the Hope Housing Commission and the Right Place and is the immediate past chairman of the board of the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce.

Dozeman has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America, Michigan Super Lawyers, Benchmark Litigation and Chambers USA. He has also been elected a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Michigan Lawyers Weekly named Dozeman its Lawyer of the Year in 2003. He has also been included in the Top 100 Michigan Super Lawyers list since 2007 and was named one of the top 50 Michigan Business Super Lawyers in 2015.

Dozeman received his doctor of jurisprudence from Wayne State University Law School magna cum laude and holds an undergraduate degree from Calvin College.

A native of West Michigan, Dozeman currently resides in Grand Rapids with his wife, Kristine, and their sons, Stephen and Tom.
