FORT STOCKTON, TX, January 14, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Attorney Albert G. Valadez has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in law.
Mr. Valadez is a former district attorney with more than three decades of jury trial experience in criminal, civil and family cases. He now oversees all operations of Valadez Law Office, which provides legal services in the areas of criminal law, civil law, probate, wills, divorce, adoptions, and child support enforcement. Mr. Valadez is trusted to counsel clients about their cases throughout the entire process, so that they are informed about what is happening every step of the way. He has received a Client Distinction Award from Martindale-Hubbell in recognition of his excellence in the legal field.
The source of inspiration behind Mr. Valadez's legal career was his grandmother, who worked as a court interpreter with many different lawyers. Upon making the decision to pursue a career in the field of law, he obtained a JD from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. Mr. Valadez was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains affiliation with the National Association of Criminal Defense.
Mr. Valadez attributes his success in his chosen profession to being in the right place at the right time. When he began his career as a lawyer in Houston, Texas, he worked with some very competent lawyers who steered him in the right direction. They led Mr. Valadez to believe that he wouldn't receive the proper trial experience as a criminal defense lawyer. One day, a lifelong friend called him from Western Texas. This friend was an elected district attorney who wanted an assistant, and he trusted Mr. Valadez since they'd known each other from their early childhood days. Mr. Valadez was reluctant at first, but he eventually decided to uproot his life and accept his friend's offer. Lo and behold, he received extensive trial experience as his friend's assistant for six years. After that, he decided to run for the position of district attorney so he could work alongside his friend, as there were two district attorneys in the town. He was elected and served for two terms. After 14 years of prosecution experience, he felt that he finally had the work experience needed to go back into private practice.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Valadez intends to continue on his current path of providing high quailty services for his clients. His two children are following in his footsteps as well; his son, who will soon be graduating from law school, will likely work for Mr. Valadez. He also has a daughter who is currently in college.
