As a senior sales consultant of Oracle, Ms. McCloskey specializes in security and building private clouds. She was a developer right out of college writing code in C and C++ on systems like Sun, NeXT computers and PIXAR for the secret agencies in Washington D.C. Surrounded by men in high tech and many with military backgrounds, it was difficult at times; much like college where she was the only female in many computer and electrical engineering courses. This enthusiastic over-achiever developer then took a system integrator position and over the years turned sales consultant leveraging the many years of experience and knowledge driving sales to exceed sales goals. Passionate about Security is an ongoing journey, not a destination when ensuring enterprise organizations have the scalability, flexibility, control and data security as well as compliance. This has earned her multiple sales club awards, recognitions as top contributor - multiple quarters, and a MVP award.

As a cloud specialist with expertise in server/storage platforms, she goes back to the developer days as she writes REST API code to move between clouds. Oracle is a premier provider of private cloud solutions as well as public cloud offerings, using the same products in both. Security is growing as different countries and industries around the world realize that every company and every person has data in need of protection; the awareness will highlight the risk, and expanding technologies like wearable's.

Skilled at working with partners like ISVs and channels, she automated a global direct pricing program for Point of Sale (POS) rebates, has extensive experience in developing and managing global business models & programs, infrastructure platform migration, B2B strategy, and building and retaining C-level client partnerships. She also utilizes social marketing tools, such as community forums and blogs.

Ms. McCloskey holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science, which she earned from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. To give back to others, she participates with the Girl Scouts of the United States of America, Oracle Women's Leadership, and the Professional Businesswomen of California (PBWC). In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, going to the beach, music events and attending her children's games of soccer and baseball. Balancing work and life is hard; there is never enough time to do it all.
