Health Literacy in Nursing Textbook Receives 3rd Place in AJN Book of the Year Award

    GARDEN CITY, NY, January 19, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Health literacy author and advocate Terri Ann Parnell's most recent book, Health Literacy in Nursing: Providing Person-Centered Care, recently received third place in the Nursing Management and Leadership category of the American Journal of Nursing (AJN) 2015 Book of the Year Award.

This textbook promotes verbal and written communication strategies that nurses can use to effectively meet the individualized needs of diverse patient populations.
