Concurrent with this announcement, The Basketball Channel, Inc. has formed a wholly-owned London based subsidiary called Basketball Channel Services (UK) Limited to provide exclusive technical broadcast support services, infrastructure, content management and international cash management. Through its exclusive arrangement with Encompass, with its broadcast hubs in London, Buenos Aires, Singapore and throughout the U.S., the Basketball Channel is positioned to deliver compelling digital basketball content to every corner of the globe. To further support this plan, our UK subsidiary has engaged Clay & Associates, a leading accounting, audit and tax advisory service based in the UK, as well as engaging Wiggin LP, a leading media law firm specializing in international IP and licensing compliance. Wiggin is presently assisting the Channel to obtain its international broadcast license from OFCOM ( The UK Government Office of Communications).
