Malcolm A. Punter, MBA, JSM, Celebrates 15 Years as a Real Estate Professional

    NEW YORK, NY, January 19, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Malcolm A. Punter, MBA, JSM, Executive Vice President of Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement, Inc., was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Branding. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Servicing the area of New York City, Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement, Inc. is a nonprofit organization. A coalition of interfaith congregations, the center provides urban revitalization and real estate development. An expert in real estate, asset management and operations, Mr. Punter has served as the executive vice president of the organization for the past three years. His responsibilities include managing a real estate portfolio of $750 million, and monitoring financial opportunities and physical operations.

In addition to his role with Harlem Congregation for Community Improvement, Inc., Mr. Punter owns a real estate brokerage firm, Malcolm A. Punter Realty Services, Inc. For the past seven years, he has handled commercial properties in Manhattan. Mr. Punter has been sought after to perform services as a real estate consultant to investors in distressed markets in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. As a NYS Licensed Real Estate Broker, Accredited Financial Analyst and Accredited Management Accountant, he demonstrates skill in corporate re-organizations, strategic planning and financial services, among other areas.

Having always harbored an interest in finance and financial management, Mr. Punter naturally found his way into real estate. He attributes his success over the past 15 years to his persistence and continuous pursuit for knowledge. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Law at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Additionally, he holds an MBA in Finance and Management Operations from Salve University, and a Master of Science in Law at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

Mr. Punter is a life-member and an active member of the National Black MBA Association and the Metro New York National Black MBA Association. He is also a member of the American Association of Financial Managers, as well as a fellow of the Global Academy of Finance and Management, and the American Academy of Financial Management.

In the years to come, Mr. Punter plans to expand his role as a university researcher and professor. Furthermore, he looks forward to completing his dissertation at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
