Rodenhiser Announces Return of Furnaceaurus Competition

    HOLLISTON, MA, January 20, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Are you a proud owner of an ancient "furnacesaurus"? If the answer is yes, step right up, because Rodenhiser Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, and Electric is looking for you! Providing exceptional service throughout the metro west area since 1928, Rodenhiser is on the hunt for the oldest working furnace in the area! Beginning on January 1st, 2016 and running until March 31st, 2016, Rodenhiser will be running a contest that awards the homeowner with the oldest furnace among the entries to receive a brand new furnace!

Homeowners who are interested in some OLD-fashioned competition can enter to win on Rodenheiser's website. Even if your furnace isn't quite the winning fossil, this competition has some great perks for those that enter. All eligible entries (functioning furnaces that are at least 10 years old) will receive a certificate for up to $500 off of a new furnace, as well as a free "excavation" by Rodenhiser's certified "paleontologists" to ensure their current furnace is in good condition. This free clean and check is required to authorize furnace age.

In order to be eligible for the contest, applicants must be 21 years or older, and must own the home that the furnace resides in. Entries must also be passed in and inspected before March 31st. Boilers are not eligible. The winner of the furnace "artifact" contest will be selected on March 31st, and announced on the home page of Rodenhiser's website.

Rodenhiser anticipates this contest will provide a homeowner in need with a new furnace before next year's harsh New England winter sets in. Last year's winner was a furnace that was over 70 years old, working at only 60% efficiency. Now, they will be toasty and warm in the coming months!
