Government Officials Visit M.Davis and Receive Personal Demonstration of Watts Specialties CNC Pipe Cutting Machine W-244 on National Manufacturing Day in Delaware

    SEATTLE, WA, January 23, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Government officials in Delaware received a personal demonstration on a Watts Specialties CNC pipe cutting machine at the National Manufacturing Day in Wilmington in October. Governor Jack Markell, Senator Chris Coons and Congressman John Carney hosted a visit from U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker to see U.S. manufacturing at work.

These officials visited M.Davis, a full-service industrial construction company. M.Davis provides design work, fabrication and maintenance clients in industries that include oil and gas, chemical, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical. Last year M.Davis had $53 Million in revenue, and CEO Peggy Davis Del Fabbro received the Women's Business Enterprise Star Award. M.Davis gave the officials a private demonstration of the Watts W-244 machine which allows the company to complete multiple pipe cuts with a single software command, thus saving time and money. M.Davis has been able to increase fabrication production and their revenues.

"We purchased the Watts W-244 System with PypeServer Software and started using it the first week of June 2015," said John Bonk, President of M.Davis. "We just completed a 16" pipe project. I had calculated and budgeted that the project would require 40 manhours for drawing, cutting and beveling. We did the project in 3 manhours!
