Barry L. Walton is the Inventor of SafariScreen2Go(TM) Ultra-Portable Projection Screens

Dr. Walton has more than 30 years of amateur experience in photography, with 10 years of professional experience as the owner of Barry Walton Photo, LLC. His area of expertise includes nature and wildlife slides and videos, particularly of Tanzania. He also specializes in the framing and matting of images. Barry Walton Photo, LLC provides fine art images, training for Adobe Lightroom and Photodex ProShow Gold. He also photographs weddings, portraits and architectural images. Dr. Walton's daily responsibilities include executing customer photo projects as well as managing orders of SafariScreen2G(TM) and Screen2G(TM) Ultra-Portable Projection Screens, of which he is the developer. Prior to a career in photography, he was an engineer at Hewlett-Packard and in the micro-processor division at Fairchild. In addition, Dr. Walton was a consultant on energy policy and projects for the federal government at the Stanford Research Institute.

Dr. Walton embarked on a career in photography in 2006. Throughout the course of his career, Dr. Walton has continuously honed his skills, gleaning inspiration from books on photography by the National Geographic Society, Galen Rowell and Ansel Adams. Dr. Walton recently worked with Beate Chelette on how to become a successful photographer; this is a work in progress. His latest invention is the SafariScreen2G(TM) Ultra-Portable Projection screen, which makes it easy to show media in remote locations. Dr. Walton attributes his success to many years in high technology and manufacturing, which gave him all he needed to bring his SafariScreen2G(TM) Ultra-Portable Projection Screens to market.

Dr. Walton received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, a Master of Science in Physics, and a Ph.D. in Physics all from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is a member of Placer School for Adults, Placer Arts, Placer Camera Club, ViewPoint Gallery, Gold Rush Camera Club and the Photographic Society of America. Dr. Walton has received various accolades for his images over the years, some being sold commercially. He states, "To be a great photographer, you must continue forward and never, never give up."
