Sound Physicians Partner Hospital Achieves National Recognition as Top Hospital

    TACOMA, WA, January 29, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sound Physicians, a leading health care organization focused on improving quality and lowering cost throughout the acute episode of care, announced today that one of its hospital partners, OSF St. Francis Hospital, made the coveted list of The Leapfrog Group's Top Hospitals for the fourth year in a row. Sound Physicians exclusively manages adult medical patients in the hospital, and more than half of the admissions overall.

The Leapfrog Group awards the distinction to hospitals that demonstrate the highest levels of excellence in hospital safety and quality according to the Leapfrog Hospital Survey. Fewer than 7 percent of the nation's hospitals earn the award each year, including only two hospitals within Michigan - one of which is OSF St. Francis.
