Partner Ronald Gilbert Selected for Membership in American Board of Trial Advocates

    ORLANDO, FL, January 27, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Colling Gilbert Wright & Carter announced Thursday that partner attorney Ronald Gilbert has been nominated and approved for membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) by the Central Florida Chapter and the national board. Membership in the ABOTA is available by invitation only to "any trial lawyer who is of high personal character and reputation" and:

- Belongs to the bar association in his or her geographic area of practice
- Has served as lead counsel in a minimum of 10 jury trials resulting in a verdict or hung jury
- Demonstrates a commitment to the preservation of the right to trial by jury, as guaranteed by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution

Colling Gilbert Wright & Carter also announced Thursday that the Central Florida Chapter of the ABOTA has appointed partner Melvin Wright as the chapter secretary for the 2016-2017 calendar year.
