Blair Quane Recognized for Excellence in Business Management

    CHRISTCHURCH, NEW ZEALAND, January 28, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Blair Quane, Director of QSM Trading, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in business.

Mr. Quane has many years of experience in the furniture business, and 3 years as Director of QSM Trading. His areas of expertise include project oversight, and general and strategic governance. His role as director makes him responsible for managing staff productivity, holding weekly strategy meetings. In addition, Mr. Quane reviews general finance issues regarding debtors and creditors, contacting key clients who require direct assistance. QSM Trading furnishes commercial and residential projects, providing project-based solutions for furniture and fit-out supply.

Mr. Quane attributes his success to being structured and organized, as well as being willing to take calculated risks. He became involved in commercial furniture procurement after many years in furniture manufacturing. Mr. Quane has been a director of a number of different companies over the last 15 years. The experience gleened from these roles has made him knowledgeable in general management, health and safety policy and implementation, physical and electronic system development, financial analysis and reporting, strategic planning, sales and human resources.

Mr. Quane believes in direct communication and results driven management to effect proper corporate governance. He enjoys working on a team, and having a robust discussion to resolve and plan effectively. Mr. Quane has had extensive service on volunteer committees as well as paid boards, bestowing upon him respect and patience for people's time and opinions.

Mr. Quane received his Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture with honours from Lincoln University. He earned an NZ Qualification in Project Management, and is proficient in autoCad. Going forward, Mr. Quane plans to take a more active role in company governance, as well as volunteer his time more often.
