Pooja Pundrik Honored for Excellence in Project Management

Ms. Pundrik is a senior program manager with more than 20 years of experience in managing complex cross-geography programs in reputed product and services organizations. Her deep expertise in project management, coupled with broad exposure to other organization performance areas makes her ideal for translating business vision into tactical outcomes.

Ms. Pundrik has successfully delivered multiple projects in diverse functional domains including Hospitality, Hotels, Airlines, Travel, Telecommunication and HRMS. Her core competencies include program management, project management, account management, pre-sales, relationship management, strategic planning, capability improvement and competency building. She has hands-on experience in setting up PMO functions from ground-up.

Ms. Pundrik has four years of experience as a projects program lead of IBM. Throughout her career, she has set herself apart as an expert in computer science, project management, transformation, pre-sales, software project management, telecommunications, and project planning. As part of her daily work with IBM, Ms. Pundrik manages and delivers projects in Global Distributed Delivery environments, and she also manages relationships and accounts. Additionally, the role involves working with MNCs, managing various consulting and managerial projects, and building the competencies of clients and staff members. Prior to joining IBM, Ms. Pundrik held a variety of leadership positions. To date, she has worked as a project manager at Linde Gas from 2010-2012, an operations head at Spanco Telesystems from 2008-2010, a DGM at Bharti Airtel Ltd. from 2005-2007 and a business development manager at IGT Solutions Pvt Ltd from 2004-2005.

Looking back, Ms. Pundrik attributes her success to her ability to resolve problems, as well as her hard work. Ms. Pundrik is also fully proficient in the English and Russian languages, which enables her to work in a multinational capacity.

Ms. Pundrik received a master's degree in computer science from Riga's Institute of Civil Aviation in 1994, and she holds the distinction of being a Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute. In years to come, Ms. Pundrik hopes to experience continued growth.
