Pardee Homes' Inland Empire Communities Among the 50 Top Selling Master-Planned Communities in the United States

    CORONA, CA, January 29, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Two master-planned communities built by Pardee Homes in the Inland Empire were ranked among the Top 50 Best Selling Master-Planned Communities in the country in 2015, according to the annual report by John Burns Real Estate Consulting.

Canyon Hills in Lake Elsinore and Sundance in Beaumont were tied as the 49th best-selling communities in the U.S. with 263 home sold at both. According to Devyn Bachman, an analyst with John Burns Real Estate Consulting, improved sales and many more communities raised the bar for this year's top 50 masterplans from 226 sales last year to 256 sales this year with a dramatic increase in the number of annual sales in the 200 to 300 range.

"We congratulate the developers and home builders that made the top 50 masterplans so successful in 2015," said Bachman. "We considered over 230 master-planned communities across the country to identify the top 50 based on their new home sales activity in 2015."

"In Southern Riverside County, Canyon Hills had another great year, selling 263 homes," added Pete Reeb, principal, John Burns Real Estate Consulting. "With more than 2,500 home sales over the last 15 years, Canyon Hill demonstrates a strong sense of place and great values for Southern California with homes priced from the low $300,000 to the mid $400,000s. Sales are taking off at Sundance thanks to Pardee Homes' wide variety of neighborhoods and attainable prices from the high $200,000s to the low $400,000s."

A total of ten master-planned communities in California were on the list, with The Irvine Ranch in Orange County at number two nationwide. Retirement community The Villages in Central Florida ranked number one with 2,294 sales. It was also number one in 2014. This is the sixth year that John Burns Real Estate has compiled this list.
