Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Arminta Theodosia Barreiro as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    ARVERNE, NY, February 03, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Arminta Theodosia Barreiro, Motivational Speaker and Sole Proprietor of Talk Triple Truth, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Theodosia Barreiro will be featured in the upcoming edition of the Women of Distinction Magazine in 2016.

Becoming a customer service community advocate in 1996 after her mother passed away of breast cancer, it wasn't for another 19 years that Theodosia Barreiro officially formed Talk Triple Truth, on July 9, 2015, her late brother's birthday, two years after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2013. As Sole Proprietor, she serves as a motivational speaker for the community, with a goal of enabling others a place where people suffering the same disease can gather to talk and gain support. Hosting speaking engagements all over New York, in the Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island areas, Ms. Barreiro also hosts an online community to encourage people affected by breast cancer.

"On October 22, 2013, it was confirmed that I had stage three Triple Negative Breast Cancer. It was further confirmed a year later that it was reoccurring," Ms. Barreiro recalled. "I formed Talk Triple Truth, an online company available for cancer patients, survivors, and those who love us to give people a place to talk and hear answers to the questions they want to ask."

Having previously worked in lead management for more than 20 years at various fortune 500 companies, including Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Ms. Barreiro is now able to use her skills to serve others in a way that she finds most rewarding. It also serves as an inspiration for her to be able to share her story with others going through cancer.

Ms. Barreiro became a Natural Health Consultant through Stratford Career Institute in 2007. She is a contributing author to 'Forever Spoken', published in 2007. She is also involved with the American Breast Cancer walk annually, ever since her mother passed. Currently serving as a team leader, she will be advancing to registration in 2016.
