Anita L. Johnston Named Professional of the Year in Business Management

    ROSALIND, AB, February 04, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anita L. Johnston, Owner and Operator of Tundra First Aid Services LTD, has been named a Worldwide Branding Professional of the Year in Business Management. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.

Ms. Johnston has 10 years of professional experience, with eight years of experience as Owner and Operator of Tundra First Aid Services LTD. On a daily basis, she is responsible for verifying employees and ensuring that her staff incorporates updated training and equipment into their services, taking into account important changes in technique and procedure. Tundra First Aid Services LTD provides industrial first-aid services for the logging industry, including construction, pipeline and plant sites, seismic work and road construction.

Looking back, Ms. Johnston feels that her drive and strong Irish work ethic separate her from others in the health field. Her greatest achievement has been going back to school for her PCP-IV certification. She became involved in her profession after starting as a safety level one first-aid attendant; her career evolved from there. The highlight of her career was when she saw a former patient and his family after his release from the hospital; they thanked her for being there to help him at the time of his accident.

Ms. Johnston is a licensed paramedic, a PCP/IV and an EMR. She is a member of her local chamber of commerce and a nominee of the A.W.E. Celebration of Achievement in 2015. In years to come, Ms. Johnston hopes to offer first-aid services to a greater number of sites.
