Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Denise Long Wells as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    SUMTER, SC, February 13, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Denise Long Wells, Owner and Broker in Charge of First Carolina Real Estate Group, LLC, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Denise Long Wells will be featured in the upcoming edition of the Women of Distinction Magazine in 2016.

Real Estate Investors since 1997, Denise Long Wells and her husband, Derrick Wells, have always had a passion for the industry. After successfully forming a home care business together in 2006, Wells used her spare time taking real estate courses and exams to become a licensed broker. Not long after, she opened the doors to First Carolina Real Estate Group, LLC in Sumter, South Carolina as Owner and Broker in Charge.

"First Carolina Real Estate has provided me the opportunity to help others buy and sell real estate for investment and homeownership purposes," Wells said. "I enjoy closing deals for others just as much as I enjoy closing deals for myself."

Flexible enough to understand how to grow her business with the demands of the industry, Wells focuses on strategic planning and future growth. Though she is constantly looking toward tomorrow, she makes herself readily accessible daily to both clients and staff in order to offer advice and lend a hand when needed. She is also sure to designate day to day tasks to very smart, capable individuals, allowing her to focus on other responsibilities. Working alongside her husband, who inspires her professionally, he is not only one of her greatest supporters, but a great thinker as well.

"My husband's wheels are always turning," Wells noted. "He is usually the source of many great ideas we've pursued in the past. He can come up with an idea or thought for something and I am the executor. We make a great team."

Wells equally believes in being a positive person in the business world; she makes it a personal goal to be positive every single day.

Wells holds an AS from Richard Bland College of the College of William and Mary and a Bachelor's of Business Administration from James Madison University. Her husband, CEO and President of Fairway Home Care of South Carolina and Real Estate Investor, and she have two children, Nicole, 10, and Simone, 7.
