Author Kim Wise Launches First Book in Science Fiction Trilogy

    WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA, February 17, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kim Wise is delighted to announce this month's launch of the first book in her Territories trilogy. Territories: Book 1, Crossing the Line will appeal to lovers of science fiction, fantasy and romance.

The novel contains many elements of the paranormal, including vampirism and shape shifting, while the story hinges on the mysterious jewel and the protagonist, Emma, who receives it. The jewel comes into Emma's possession while she is in London for her estranged father's funeral. She soon becomes obsessed but keeps the jewel a secret until she returns home to Los Angeles. There she's thrown into a realm of dangerous and desirable men and shady detectives, all looking for the aforementioned jewel. Emma is left in a dilemma, not knowing who to trust and who may secretly be her biggest enemy.

Author Kim Wise is a graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business (Marketing) and has worked as VP of Marketing for a global software house in New York. Kim currently lives in Los Angeles with her British husband where she specializes in product and company messaging and social media marketing. She has four children.
