Women of Distinction Magazine Looks Forward to a Stellar 2016

    MELVILLE, NY, February 21, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- We are looking forward to a stellar 2016. The team here at Women of Distinction Magazine are working diligently to make 2016 our finest year yet. As women, we are on top of the world right now, running industries, small business growth is up and continuing to climb, and more than ever women are being recognized for prevailing and continuing to grow.

The magazine was founded on the morals that we would create a platform unlike any other, a place where women can tell their real life stories. As a mother of two young girls it hit me one day, all my children saw were women being showcased for their bikini bodies, magazines that talk about clothes, hair, make-up, or home decor. Knowing here I was a working mother of two, I am so much more than a face with the right eyeshadow, better than a certain kind of purse; I am the one that keeps it all together for my family; the cook, housekeeper, teacher, taxi, bank roll, right? But do my children know that? What should they know about me and all the other incredible women out there?

Women are in every industry there is, from homemaker, to lawyer, to doctors, contractors, retail, wholesale, planes, trains, and automobiles, and we have represented them all and continue to grow and learn so much about the new trends, markets and resources becoming available.

The thousands of women and stories we have come across have been a real inspiration and tremendously eye opening to so many new industries and resources. This year we are expanding through North America with some incredible women in Canada. In 2016, we will be launching several Canadian Women of Distinction Magazines.

We found, like most of us women do, many have tried to duplicate us, others put us down, but we did come out on top through it all, featuring over 40 publications in 2015 due to a determined research and editorial team, but most of all because of you, the real Women of Distinction.
