Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Abby Peel as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    SUNAPEE, NH, February 27, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Abby Peel, Owner and Founder of Strategic Social Media, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Abby Peel will be featured in the upcoming edition of the Women of Distinction Magazine in 2016.

Specializing in social media management, Abby Peel has always had a zest for social media, ever since her freshman year of college when she first opened her own Twitter account. Learning all about the subject, she established various ways to be successful on social media over the years, and her interest continued to grow and grown over time.

Now, as the Owner and Founder of Strategic Social Media, Peel is living her dream. Overseeing every aspect of her business, including meetings with clients, doing content research, and scheduling of posts, she hopes to continue building her business, and her clients, into a much larger company with more services.

"I forever picture myself working in some sort of social media position," Peel noted. "My favorite part of my job is sitting down with a client who has no idea what they are doing and by the end of our session they understand the difference between their newsfeed and profile and how to post. I never thought I would make for great teacher, but I realized that I can teach when I am most passionate about something."

Prior to forming Strategic Social Media, Peel interned with WCVB Channel 5 in Needham, Massachusetts and then as a Morning Radio Host on WNTK 99.7 in New London, New Hampshire. Active as a member of three local organizations in New Hampshire that requested help with their social media, Peel volunteers her services to help these clients grow their presence online. She also volunteers at a local hospital as a 'cuddler' of sick babies, something she invests two hours a week to and gives her a great sense of perspective in life.

Peel holds a BA in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College. Mostly self-taught in the field of social media, she attended a Pubcon conference in Las Vegas in October 2015. She plans to continue building her portfolio and educating herself in the field.
