MILTON, MA, March 02, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Students at Delphi Academy of Boston took on "The Great Kindness Challenge" from January 25 through the 29th. Each student was given of checklist of 50 acts of kindness to practice over four days. These acts included making people laugh, hugging a friend, learning to say "hello" in another language, and many others. Students greeted this challenge with enthusiasm.
Young people performed acts of kindness in classrooms, at home, and in their everyday lives. Many brought flowers to their teachers in homemade vases. Children helped their fellow students understand particularly tough lessons. Many students recycled trash in their neighborhoods and around the school.
This challenge helped students understand the power of simple actions - and the joy they bring to the perpetrator of such actions. Students are continuing their kindness, even though The Great Kindness Challenge is long over.
This challenge is just one more way Delphi Academy of Boston helps young people use a key part of the curriculum - ethics and integrity - in their everyday lives.
