Transaction Overview
The agreement between the two companies means that on February 1, 2016, The Answer Company took over support and maintenance responsibilities for all Sage Software customers previously supported by BurCom Consulting. These clients vary across several Sage products including Sage HRMS, Sage CRM and Sage Business Intelligence, but most notable is the Sage 300 client base, which is the largest in Canada. With already having one of the largest Sage X3 and Sage 500 ERP business practices nationwide, a strong client base of Sage BusinessVision and Sage 100, and the second largest Sage 300 client base, The Answer Company will now have a dominant nationwide customer base in every mid-market Sage ERP system.
Today's announcement is another example of The Answer Company's continuing growth as it has grown approximately 450% since 2010. In the last 4 years, The Answer Company has acquired the Sage Solutions portion of six other business partners including Unisoft Solutions, which was BC's largest Sage 300 partner at the time, Information Systems Architects' (ISA) Sage 500 ERP business, Essential Software Solutions' Sage ERP business, Avante Solutions' SalesLogix business, and two Sage PFW ERP businesses from other Sage Partners. The Answer Company also expanded its portfolio by becoming a NetSuite Business Partner in 2015, to offer more options to their growing client base.
